Chaplet of Divine Mercy

Description: A rosary-like devotion revealed to St. Faustina Kowalska by Jesus, focusing on His mercy.

Structure: Uses standard Rosary beads but with unique prayers:

  • Opening: Sign of the Cross, Our Father, Hail Mary, Apostles’ Creed.
  • On large beads: “Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.”
  • On small beads (10x): “For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”
  • Closing (3x): “Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”

Purpose: Seeks God’s mercy; often prayed at 3 PM (Hour of Mercy) or as a novena.
